Later Hungarian FoG army

My first challenge this spring is to paint an 800 point army for a Fog weekend at Durham Wargames Group, at the end of May. I have most of the figures on hand although some may not be 100% accurate it gives me an opportunity to paint some figures I've had for years. 10 weeks is not a bad time scale to finish the army but I do have 4 other projects on the go at the moment. So we'll just have to see how it goes.

  1. As a guy with a 800 point Later Hungarian army, I have to say you've made a great selection. They're LOTS of fun on the tabletop. Good luck and what mountain is over your shoulder in your profile pic?

    And welcome to blogging!

    1. The compostion of my Later Hungarians is different to your list in that I'm taking more Serbian Hussars. There will be no messing with this army, attack attack attack!

The mountain is the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland. We were there on holiday last year hiking in the mountains.

I must confess it was your blog which prompted me to do one myself. There will be a tiny bit of duplication with our blogs as I am also painting up an Ottoman Turk army for our club competion, I have an old army which I didn't paint myself, so I'm painting a new one.
I won last year with a Later Carthaginian army so no pressure.
